I have a light come on next to the drive light indicator It has a exclimation mark inside a circle with gears.

I have a light come on next to the drive light indicator It has a exclimation mark inside a circle with gears. I took it to advance auto and they checked it with a machine and it said i have cylinder 1 and 2 misfire. i replaced both spark plugs and both coils and the car still runs the same loss of power and the light is still on. Do i need to reset the computer and if so how do i do it? I drive a 325i 2001 bmw!
