Hi John,

I'm sure that they took that into consideration when they designed it, but I can't confirm that. I've added a link to their website under the video. Please check it.

I'm 62 and overweight, as are several of my firends. What a welcome concept. Bring it on.....Though during a down pour it might make the interior wet. Otherwise. where can I find out the cost of conversion? JJ

I see. You're right about that. It's funny to see a company with a bright idea for the future and a very bad taste at marketing itself  . I would love however to see these old looking girls jumping into a BMW E36. I think it's going to be sweet.

Oh no, I'm sure its new news from Jatech's perspective. I was just commenting on the company's choice of vehicle and actor hairstyle and wardrobe selection for this particular ad--makes it look very dated.

Also, dropping style doors were actually first conceived on the BMW Z1 circa 1986: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_Z1#Doors

The other unfortunate thing about dropping doors are no door controls (think locks, windows, speakers etc) and no arm rests...notice the cars in the ad have arm rests on the seats, further making it feel like the whole thing came from a mid 80's Ford Econoline van...
