First off, that's a CSL which is someway off the standard M3 and makes this video pretty pointless. Had it been a standard M3 (343ps) vs the 645 (333) then it would make sense. Putting a stripped out, racespec 360bhp csl against a bog standard 645 is plain dumb.

As for the previous spurious comment that the M3 can "scare" 911 turbos, sounds like a fanboy who has never owned a turbo.

I totaly agree that it is a very fast car. But I wouldn't call it a muscle car. See here as to why the M3 is not a muscle car. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscle_car

I'm not a big fan of muscle cars but love the 3 series, which is why I am being a little defensive. :)

Hi Tommy,

You do agree that the M3 is a very fast car, right? Take a look at this:

http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/04/25/bmw-m3-vs-lamborghini-diablo-great/

If you mean that it's a muscle car like the fastest in the world, I say no, but it's still a very fast car.

Good video which I exspected the M3 to win. On a track or road it would win by even more.

I own an M3 & know how quick they are. The handling is also out of this world too. Just brilliant!

I have had Porsche 911's including a Turbo & have to say My M3 Can scare them all.

In fact I would say the M3 is more FUN & entertaining to drive.

M3's are amazing drivers car.

You wont know until you drive one. when you do you will soon realise what all the fuss is about.

I have a SuperSprint Pipe on mine which makes is sound like pure music! adds more BHP too!
