just replaced my radiator in my 95 318i and now my temp stays at 12 for a while and then temp starts to rise slowly.even when i drive it begins to go past 12 after a while.my electric fan also doesn't come on at all even before i changed radiator the fan never came on and my temp gauge alway's stayed at 12.could my problem be a fan relay, thermostat, water pump or more serious problem?

I'm not really sure. My car fan seems to be messed up, so I can't judge about that. I suggest you take a look at your fan and how it's connected. As long as your car's temp doesn't go up, I don't think you have any problems.

Hi Tony,

No is does not move beyond 12 clock, sometimes when driving at high speeds (190- km/h) it stays between 12 and 13 clock. But it drops quickly to 12 clock again. I just think it's weird i have never heard the electrical fan turn on, or is it just me being paranoid?

LOL!

Think my reley and sensor might be broken then, i have never ever heard my electric fan running,. Not even if i have been driving at 180 km/h for 5 hours, in 20 degree C sunshine...

Think there is something broken, or does is my coolant just below 80 degrees all the time?
