More curing means less workable time before it gels and can't be brushed on anymore. I usually stretch fleece over the framework, then brush the resin into the fleece VERY THOROUGHLY and somewhat evenly, and let it dry. Because of the fleece's thickness, it's fairly sturdy when it dries... MDF is Medium Density Fiberboard...used for most fabrication in cars because it's very easy to work with, and sturdy enough unless you get it wet.
