To Tony & To All Bimmer Enthusiasts...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Wishing a prosperous 2009! and a whole year of clean pipes, lines, converters, sensors and filters. A whole year of smooth operations of your Engines & Transmissions.... another year of Bimmer Preservaton Perfection!!!

BAD News - I've said Goodbye to my lovely E36 before the Gov't started to implement the non-transfer of ownership for 15 yrs & above cars, which was on 1 Dec '08.

GOOD News - I've sold it to my neighbor!!! so I get to see her from time to time... transferred all my knowledge (including the E36 Service Manual & mechanic details) to the new owner. Whom in return loved her.... specially his son, he proudly called it "My Dad's New Sport Car!" hehehe ...

So eventhou I'm not an "official" E36 owner, I'll be dropping by from time to time and leave some nasty comments on your bimmers! - Just kidding! hehehehehe
Surely will miss you all!

To Ammar

Khefalek (How are you?), I'll be glad to show you the mechanic who specialized on German Cars (ironically, his garage's name is Canada! hahahaha!) specially on Bimmers... We (ahem, myself also..) had done a wonderful job in maintaining the above LADY for more than 3 years in a smooth "almost as new" condition. Give me a buzz when you pass by Sharjah, so I can take you to him and also show you where the "Gold Mine" of parts & accessories are located!!! Just get some shouvels($$cash$$) ready, coz definitely you'll be needing it! Etisalat - tamanya tamanya ashra arba itnin setta <keyboard )%)**!)$@^ ... I hope you've got it, shukran.

MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA INYONG LAHAT..... PAALAM...
(Many Thanks to all.....Goodbye....)

Dear Tony & Guetzer,

Sorry to reply so late....
I've drove back to the place I got the gauges, the gauges were all gone except for a last piece, for an E36 318.... Anyways, I've also searched the internet but I can't locate the Brand names!!! The one I got was made by "HOWELL" brand (dark green box), I also looked around the box & manual, but there are no marks from where it was made! Even the salesperson doesn't want to share the info!!! Maybe it's from China? And you can also try to look for a "R-Dash" gauges (blue box)brand, for me, the quality is a bit lower than the Howell one...

I'll update you guys once I gain more info on this...

Regards,
Daniel

Dear

TIM - Thanks! I installed the "CREAM" steering wheel cover just to go with the color of the seat covers, i also placed some "CREAM" seat belt cussions! :) Just liked a light interior...

KEN - The headlights are great! But you have to properly install and adjust them, as the beam levels should be just right, not blinding the oncoming drivers...
it came with a high density Halogen bulbs (which is brighter than the ordinary ones), but you can change the bulbs with HID ones (so you'll have a brighter view at night)... and note, the "Angel Eyes" i got doesn't have the electronic light beam level adjuster, but it's ok, it looks better than the stock lamps :) I usualy turn on my fog lamps instead of the head lights (as seen on the picts above).. much nicer to see at night. I also suggest to install the upper EYE BROWS, to have a more aggressive look! :)

Thanks for your comments!

Regards,
Daniel

I was wondering how you liked the headlights...I'm planning on buying a set just like those, but i'd really like to know how well the projectors work over the stock headlights that barely shine unless they're aimed high......
