Although, I know that my headlights are not the best headlights available for BMW E36, but I like them very much. First, because of their rings color (light blue) which fits perfectly on my silver car. Second, because they’re a single unit headlights with a corner. I hate the 2 part headlights. The problem is that my headlights are getting old and they always look dirty even after washing the car. So, I was thinking of replacing them and while I’m looking for some alternatives, I have found some great headlights that I didn’t even know they exist. I prepared a list of them below. Check them out. I’m sure that many of you hate the standard headlights of BMW E36 and are willing to give their cars a new look. I also added a rating for both style and quality for each of these products which is based totally on my taste. Have fun!

i have the 3rd ones on the list and i love them, they look amazing at night, i forgot where i got this diy thing where it makes my daylights just the rings so they become demon eyes but i think it was bimmerdiy.com, i only paid 50 for the pair used since in the north east there is a company that sell parts from junkers, mainly import cars and mine came from a M3 that got into a bad rear end accident (they showed me the car in the back while a guy was taking off the doors) and they ripped that thing apart for parts, interior, engine, etc.. so thats where i go for parts

50$ wow! this is a great price for these lights. Maybe I should get them for my car. I think they will look better than the ones that I already have. But I’m not sure if they’ll fit on Silver as they do on Black (your car is black ricky right?).

if u have a 2dr yah but i think u can find the same ones for a 4dr, not sure if it will look right on a silver e36 since they have a black background, and the one’s with a chrome background will just look cheap on it, the fist one on the list could look nice on your silver 325Is since it has a black background but the corner is smoke so its not black black

Chrome lights are out of question. I don’t find them attractive at all. I guess I should go with this third one.

    Hi,
I m going to buy the 92 93 94 95 96 97 98 BMW E36 2DR BLACK HALO HEADLIGHT, 3rd ones on the list. Does anybody know if they are hard to install? Can I use the existing wiring from my 2DR 323is ’98 coupe?

I also noticed that these headlights have only two hooks on top where you mount them on to the car (hope you know what I mean). My existing ones, 2 piece headlights (with corner) have 3 hooks to mount them, on top. will that be a problem?

    Hi Buccaneer,

I’m using another type, but I think they all are just plug & play. But I have no idea about the hooks. Mine has 3 hooks not 2.

hey, new to the site, but oldschool bm fan, i owned a 96 318is motorsport ltd edition, and i fitted aftermarket headlights, they fitted perfectly, the only issue i had was the angle adjustment was not supported… not sure if it is with any of these.

my major problem, is that i live in south africa, and availability of parts is limited, very limited.

does anyone have a roundabout figure, in us dollars, wot the shipping fee would be, to get parts out here. weight or size.

i have recently purchased another 318i which has started its mod makeover, but obviously, living in “africa” styles are limited, and therefore, common. so unique parts, imported. would give me a leading edge…

i will post pics soon. thanks guys.

Welcome Darren to the BMW E36 Blog. You can easily find out how much the shipping is going to cost you by trying to order whaterever you need. In the order process, the website will request your address information and it will calculate exactly how much it’s going to cost for the product + shipping.
