I installed this in a 2006 TOY TACOMA DBL CAB.
Here's a head unit that gives you great options and performance!
I purchased the P7900BT for the Bluetooth, expandablity for USB, AUX IN, IPOD, SAT RADIO... if I want to add something later I can!
Now, the Built-in-bluetooth is very sweet! make sure after installation you hit the reset button on the front. The bluetooth picks up my Samsung U620 in about 10 seconds. It actually pleasantly surprised me when I was on the phone as I got into the car and it automatically transfered the call to the car speakers!
BT MUSIC is another great option: I didn't realize it when I bought it, but I have managed to connect my laptop to the head unit through bluetooth. I can just sit my laptop on the passenger seat and it will play through my MP3s with ease; and it sounds good too! (you need bluetooth on your notebook)
Phone calls: All I get are compliments from others on how clear it is at both ends of the call. I look forward to having convo's in the truck instead directly on the phone.
Audio: I will one day add a amp, sub and new speakers. this head unit will easily allow for the addition of such things with the 3-preamp outputs.
Controls: At first the controls are a little frustrating; however, after one day I am already getting it all figured out.

The only problem I have had is with the CD player; I put one in, it plays fine, but I am unable to get it out! because of this the face won't retreat back to its' normal position right away; it will after a minute or so.
I tried everything under the moon to get it out. I am in the process of doing a advanced exchange for the same unit.

For the cost here on Amazon ($50-70 cheaper than next best) you can't go wrong with this unit.

you'll be very happy with this one

This deck was great, when it worked.

The iPod functionality only works intermittently, where 95% of the the iPhone will not charge, or display current song info, or support most navigation features. When it does connect with the iPhone correctly, it looked like it would have been great,

Also the bluetooth works great, until you power off your car, then you need to re-sync the iphone to the deck, every time you turn your car off.

I called pioneer, and they basically blamed everything on apple, and offered no solution of any kind for these issues.

It appears that many phones have issue with the bluetooth, so be wary.

So I bought this deck for 2 reasons: I wanted an integrated solution to link my ipod to my car, and I wanted a hands free bluetooth device.

First, the installation was a breeze, It took me less than an hour, including the removal of the old deck in my car. Everything fits well and is sturdy.

The user interface is not the best feature of the deck, and is cumbersom at first. You really need to keep the manual handy at ALL TIME!

Now the bad part: I work for a wireless operator and I know A LOT about cell phone and Bluetooth. This thing is NOT compatible with most Blackberrys.... A shame! I contacted the pioneer tech support, and they were not able to assist me. I am disapointed.

I bought this CD player because I really wanted an iPod compatible CD player and the Bluetooth capabilities was a nice bonus. I bought the wiring harness and iPod cable as well and had a local car audio shop install it because it was a little too advanced for me. The microphone for the Bluetooth is mounted right by my visor. I have a 2005 Honda Civic and a Palm Treo and it works great together. My main complaint however is with the iPod stuff - it works great with my 5th gen iPod video, but it doesn't save your spot when you are browsing by artist. I kind of wish you could use the iPod to browse. Quick fix is to create well thought out playlists and browse quickly that way. I also cannot get my phonebook over to the CD player memory but I haven't messed with it that much.
Overall - very good CD player especially for the money.

This headunit is the BEST!!! I wasnt sure at first if I wanted to throw down all the cash for it, but amazons price is way better than others. the stereo does everything it says, and more. i loved to get in my car while talking on the phone and it automatically switch into speakerphone through the stereo. the headunit definately has all the "bells and whistles" to make anyone's jaw drop. it has everything. bluetooth, ipod, motorized faceplate, cool screen savers, awesome color, easy to use, etc.
The included instructions were very easy to follow. it takes very little wiring experiance to figure it out and get it installed. I cant wait to hook up some amps so I can hear the headunit to its full potential. Great item overall, highly recommend.

Buyer be warned--even though Pioneer states on their website that the deck works with the new music phones, it will not pair with LG cellphones (ie, the new chocolate 8550, etc) for BT Audio. This is a major flaw and oversight in their testing. So, don't plan on using this unit for wireless audio streaming if you own and LG phone--which tons of people do.

Had Pioneer stated this incompatibility on their website, rather than having told me over the phone when I called tech-support after a frustrating few hours of trying to get BT Audio to work, I would not have bought the unit. Needless to say, they'll be dealing with my return.
