1998 740 IL O2 Sensor 1 Bank 1 & Cam Pos Sensor ?'s

I had a friend pull the codes for me and his answers lead me to ask the following 2 questions:

1: Which location is O2 sensor 1, bank 1? (U.S car, therefore Driver side is left side of car.)

2: Also getting a Cam position sensor code. I am a full competition race engine builder and camshaft designer/manufacturer, I do know what I am doing. I've just never cracked into one of these specific engines, and I would like a little direction where to point my wrench.

Anyone have insight into the amount of difficulty it is for me to tackle this myself?

Vehicles has over 200K miles on it, but runs excellent.
