1998 E36 M3 Evo,Clutch Pressure Problem

Postby ciarankelly on Mon Feb 01, 2010 9:43 pm

Hello, I own a 1998 E36 M3 Evo Coupe at times I lose all clutch pressure at the clutch pedal.
I can be driving the car for months and no bother, then on rare occasions, like if I stop at a round-a-bout or something and press the clutch pedal down to put the car into gear, the car will not go into gear and the pedal will stay welded to the floor, as if there is no pressure to push the pedal back up again, then all I have to do is reach down and pull up the pedal manually and everything is 100% again, there is plenty of clutch/brake fluid and the car is not leaking a single drop of fluid no were, the brakes and clutch all feed from the one fluid tank, I have replaced the master cylinder at the clutch pedal twice with 2nd hand parts and I still had the problem so I bought a brand new one out of BMW and the problem is still there also I had a brand new sachs clutch kid fitted, still no joy any help?

The slave cylinder would be the next thing to check after replacing the master cylinder.
The ONLY Hellrot Red 323 in the world, emmm except for the other few thousand dotted around the world.
