325i MAF problems

Postby madeshotels on Mon Apr 11, 2011 11:50 pm

I have a 2005 BMW 325i and the car runs really rough and sometimes kills. I turn the car off, unplug the MAF sensor and start the car and it runs fine. Is it definitely the sensor are could it be something else. It is not throwing up any lights on dash. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Have you tried cleaning it?

Not yet. I don't have mad cleaner. Can I use contact cleaner? It doesn't look dirty.
