AC fan motor resistor replacement

My 96 318ic has the radiator fan ( six blade) between the motor and radiator and is mounted on the radiator. The low speed side of the motor, which is run for AC cooling, has a resistor in the wireing, it looks like a silver cigar tube cliped to the fan shroud. Bentley shows you how to test the fan motor, basicly if you don't have continuity on the low side, its the resistor that is fried. you could have other problems like relays but lets keep this simple, it was the problem for mine.
I found a used fan motor online for $150, BMW sell the fan and shroud as one piece for $400. I bought a one OHM resistor from Radio Shack ($1.95) and wired it in. Back in business. :D
So, how do you submit pics?
