aftermarket alarm and remote start issues

Postby davsurfa on Sun Jul 10, 2011 8:33 am

I've bought an alarm with remote central locking and remote start, I've had a few small issues with the locking side however I've managed to get that sorted. The immobiliser was a bit of a bugger but that was solved too!! I've even got the remote starter to work but there is one last issue.

When I start the car using the remote starter the instructions say press the unlock button, put the key in the ignition, switch in on, drop the handbrake and drive normally. The only problem is that after 25 seconds the system re-arms itself which so far I can't figure out how to stop!!

This is the wiring diagram of the locking wiring and the alarm wiring.

Can anyone shed any light on this?? Where am I going wrong??? This is driving me nuts!!!!
