altitude change

Postby jerry on Tue Jan 13, 2009 1:39 pm

I've purchased a '97 318i, whick will go from Nevada to Louisiana. ( the 1.9 motor). Anyone know if the fuel injection will automatically compensate for the altitude change? does one have to do anything to facilitate this? thanks!

It'll be fine. If anything needs to be adjusted the computer will handle it itself.

Thanks, and quite right. Picked up the car and m44 motor runs like a little sewing machine, no altitude problems whatsoever.
