BMW M3 Evo Oxygen & Air Mass sensor

Postby sjaberi on Tue May 05, 2009 12:24 pm

I have a BMW M3 Evo, 1998. Every time I start my car, it turns off automatically. I took it to the garage to have the computer checked and it gives me a “oxygen sensor fault” message. I bought two oxygen sensors and installed them, however, I’m still getting the same problem, it turns off whenever I start it. I had the computer checked again and this time it gave me two messages “oxygen sensor fault” and “MS50 Unit” messages. However, when I removed the air mass sensor cable, the cars works fine, but when I put the cable back again the car shuts off when I start it.
