Center armrest replacement

I have a 99 328i Convertible and have bought a whole new armrest assembly because my old one was worn out. Anyone have any experience replacing/switching one out? I don't want to break any plastic pieces on the traditionally fragile center console...Any help/advice greatly appreciated!!

It's a bit of mucking around but very easy.
I've had mine in and out at least ten times and nothing has broken yet.
