:ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:

on my 318i it has got an alarm complete with bmw central locking.

a couple of nights ago the alarm was continiously going off for some strange reason. the doors were all closed and locked. so to keep her quiet i left the car unlocked and that worked. BUT NOW THE CENTRAL LOCKING DOES NOT WORK. HAVE I TOTALY WANKED THINGS UP OR IS THERE A SIMPLE FUSE THAT NEEDS REPLACING.??

no i dont think so there is no evidence to show this.... and to be honest up until the night she plaid up i didnt realise there was an alarm on it. all i can tell you is that the system works of the bmw key. the indecators was flashing, headlights were flashing and the horn was honking. there is no siren.

the central locking doesnt want to work since this happend

realy starting to piss me off now if you pardon my french

Try the central locking module its (if your in a right hand drive car) in the foot well on the driver side, pull back the kick panel and it will be there. Not sure how much they are so ring a motor factors and see if they can get one for you, if not then its off to BMW. If there to expensive then try a scrap yard.

I don't know off the top of my head but it will be listed on the inside of the fuse box lid.
Check out fuses 1st and then if they are ok check the central locking module. Let us know how you get on.
