Im not to sure but i think 18s are the biggest size you can go on original spring setup, 19s if you roll the arches. Im sure someone with a similar setup on there car will be along to help you out. If you want to lower the car aswel as putting 18s on it, if it can be done, you will need need to widen all the arches.

Hiya. I have an E36 318is coupe with 17" 245 / 40 at rear. When I had the car lowered (spax SOO3012) I had to have the arches rolled. Now the car has been used on this set-up for over 4yrs the tyres kiss the inner arch lining if I hit a slight hump (NOT speed hump) when anyone sits in the back. To cross a speed bump I need to straddle between the two or hug the kerb and go over on off-side only. It's a pain. Am now going back to S.C.A. in Norwich on Monday to get them to fit a new adjustable set-up. It looks cool but totally impractical.

hello,, I know this is a bit late, but no one has really answered.. and I have been away for months :p so..

I have a 4dr.. i had M3 17's on it and car was LOW as.. could just fit my foot under the front and under the sides.. got rid of them wheels and got some 19's...

rears fitted on but very close 2 guards so got them rolled so now its all good.. no problem there at all.

fronts were a no go, couldnt turn the car lol... so raised the front just enough so i could turn etc without makin it 2 high..

with the car like that. it sits level and looks very nice... i shall b puttin up pics in a week. was goin 2 do it this weekend but as im puttin on all new rotors next weekend. thought id do it after that :)
