E36 Electric Window not working

Hi there,
I have a Vreg £ series Compact and recently the driver side window fell down in the door. I managed to get this put back by the AA but now it doesnt work properly. When I open the window the glass tilts forward towards and I cant get it to go up in a straight line when I try and close it.It's all tilted forward and out of alignment! It seems to have come off its correct path! Is there anything I can do to fix this mysef - is it a nightmare? If I do need a new part what woul dit be called - is it some sort of scissor mechanism and is it expensive......?
Any help appreciated!
Thanks
Amy :)

I second what Karlos328i said.
Have a Google around there is a e36 specific guide with pictures as to how to re align the glass.

There are 2 white plastic sliding clips behind the door panel which sometimes break off. You can buy replacements from ebay for about £5 including postage.

I've attached a link to a webpage which tells you how to replace them.

Hope this helps
