how do i know if my ecu is linked to my locks and keys?

No its not, that would be your imobiliser. The ECU is wired to the engine and controls, fuel injection, valve timing, idle speed and so on.
The ONLY Hellrot Red 323 in the world, emmm except for the other few thousand dotted around the world.
