Hi

I recently sent my car for a valet and some idiot took the rear seat out cleaned beneath it and yes pulled the lever to have the roof manual, please advise me on how to reset this problem as we are going into summer now and it would cause a sweat to open and close the roof manually.

Thank you

At about 2:30 he puts the top down and shows how to re-sync the motors. Is that what you were after?

Ok then.
Basically the soft top is put down manually then a weight is placed on top of the tonneau cover on the side with the micro switch(so that the car will let you open the boot). In the boot you need to remove the screws that hold the carpet liner up then pull the carpet down to get access to the motors. For the main motor you lift the arm that the cable attaches to then lift the motor into position then release the arm to hold the motor. the second motor that's to the side you just push/pull it back until it clicks back into position. Then you push and hold the up botton for your top, turn the key two clicks forward. After a few seconds the cover should move down the back up and the top should come out like usual and that should be it.
If you want any clarification etc on any part of it just say and I'll try to get some screen caps of those parts of the video.

[quote]I tried to reply to Imraan about the the soft top, but mu account in the forum is not activated yet.
would you please post a topic about the soft top problems.
Meanwhile, please update the topic in the forum by adding the attached .pdf document. it is showing step by step how to fix the problem.
and also advise him to buy a hard top for his car, it is the best solution.
