Hello everyone.. My name is Phil and this is my first post. Anyway Just like to ask a few questions about my 325i (1994 convertible)

My passenger seat (front) Has lots its fold forward to let the back passengers out. I have traced this to a cable that snapped under the seat. Can this be fixed? If so how?

I think I might be stuck with it, but if anyone knows better please do let know as the seat look to be sealed.

Only way I know is to remove the back skin to repair or replace the release cable...and 'yes' it can be repaired. I did it with the passenger side on my 1995 325i vert. It was such a PITA that when the drivers side went, I started to haunt the "junk" yards until I found a good set from a vert or coupe. I ended up with a pair out of an e46. The skin on them were actually better than my originals and all the power worked (including memory, which my originals didn't have) Cost for the two at "pick-a-Part" was $82. Swap out was easier to me than fighting with removing the back skins.

Hello mate I was thinking it look to much effort so I think I will let this one go.

Less effort to change the seats actually. If one side works, you can tread-water for now, right.
