im looking for a decat center pipe for my 328i already has a backbox and iv just order new headers but cant seem to find just a center pipe ..has anyone just removed the cats and welded a pipe in where they was ??? if so did it work ok i.e no engine lights on dash

I think everyone has pled the fifth to an illegal action...if I were to do this, I would have a muffler shop fabricate one I could install...since in most states, it would be illegal for them to install. I would probably have it fabricated with flanges so I could bolt in or out as desired.
Sorry it took so long for anyone to respond...but at least you will not go into 2013 w/o any response.
