my car has been having trouble starting over the past few weeks, not every time i strat it but every now and again, when i turn the key the rev meter will shoot right up then the engin wont start.....
today it has started to rev over 2000 when on tick over... whats wrong any one?????????????????

If it's searching, first check is always the ICV- try giving it a clean up and see if it helps with the revs?

second thing would be your lambda, i suppose... and the wiring to either.
