How to replace my cold start valve

Postby nokia_kid on Tue Jun 22, 2010 2:53 pm

Can anyone give me a push in the right direction so that I can exchange my cold start valve on my E36 318is M42 engine, I am not very good with DIY so lots of pics would be a bonus. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section but I'm a newbe.
Help please.

I dont have a clue where it is in the 4clyclinder engine but check around throttle body and air distribution box. As far as write ups or pics, i cant find any. Id suggest the bentley guide to the e36 or else the haynes book.
