Another E38 Maniac here.. :D

emm.. for me, I just bought a used 318is for about 6k USD. That is after driving my Dad's 325i and 320i... n finally I have my own Bimmer. :) Before I bought it, I just test drive the car. I don't really care anything else. As long as it's Good to go.. Fix later. If u love it, u wouldn't mind spending your money to fix it. :D Alright...

*Sorry for my bad English...

That's a fairly nice looking car. I'm not a fan of the grey bumpers but then for that price it's not worth complaining about. The QLD number plates look funny but I think that might just come from growing up in Vic.
Is there more things getting fixed or just the problems in one of your previous posts? How much?

I say grey bumpers FTW! Colouring them leaves you with a fat e36.

Congrats for the purchase :D

Haha yeah i think its one of the last ones with the grey bumpers, has anyone tried swapping them for the newer coloured ones? No just had it in the one time with the mechanic to get a few things done, cost 800 bucks all up but that was expected and i got the price reduced after they found these problems on the RACQ report.

Few interior trim problems though, the roof lining over the back seats was sagging and getting in peoples hair so i got that fixed up for 30 bucks but just yesterday the sunroof ate the carpet on the inside and its all fallen down. Having heaps of fun with it though - just had a few rare days of rain here in qld

I haven't heard of anyone swapping them, seems like most people just get them painted to match.
$800 isn't too bad. I have had mates who bought cars worth like 2-3k then have to spend that much again when the engine starts eating itself.
:| Sunroof eating your roof liner ey? That doesn't sound like much fun.
Glad you're having fun with it, you can't ask for much more than that in a car.
