Hi ,

I lowered the electric windows down while I tried to bleed the clutch slave chylinder, then I broke the bleed nipple by over tightening it on that  , so lowered the car and tried to close the windows while I ordered a new part.

The windows now will not work? so I can't close them, I have checked the fuses under the bonnet and all fuses are fine, I found the window 1 and re seated It and nothing?

Then I took out the window rocker switches and played about wigging wires unplugging and re plugging in the switches and nothing? turned the ignition on and off , opened and closed all the doors?

I have had to cover up and waterproof the car & then pop an old gaziboo over it now to make sure its water tight!
Any idea's welcome

I take it the battery is connected properly.
Is everything else on the car working, heater, rear window demister, sunroof, stereo etc etc.

Hi,
Yes all working fine , even started fine, checked stereo & interior light.
all worked fine before I jacked it up? windows were a little temptrmental before but were working ok .
Tempermental becuause sometimes they need as bit of a wiggle or even just left for 5 10 mins then worked fine

Did you disconnect the earthing cable when you were bleeding the slave cylinder?
Normally it would throw most of the electrics into haywire mode but it may of just affected 2 or 3 things.

bought some new blade fuses.

When you were checking the fuses originally, did you put each one back where it came from?

I did , I took it out looked at it and back in the same place firmley, so hoping it's something like an oxidised fuse or something?

praying its not a broken wire somewhere?
