Hello, I would love some help. My left indicators don't work and a mechanic told me that my LCM Light Controll Module needs replacing. I read somewhere that the E36 316i 2000 dosn't have a LCM.

Do I have a LCM and if so, where could I find it? If I don't, is this a common problem with a new solution?

Hi I had a similar problem on my 1998 e36 320 and traced it to the relay in the fuse box. I removed it and pried the cover off then used a small strip of fine grit sandpaper to clean both sets of contacts, refitted everything and he presto no more problems. Hope this helps the only difference was my problem was with the right indicator.

lcm............ did they say you needed headlight fluid too? maybe your flux capacitor is dead?


it can only be fuse, realy or bulb, unless the wires have rubbed or been pulled some how.
