light conversion?

if i put e30 headlamps into my e36 and changed the front panel would that work.

There was a bit of a changeover in 1991, but earlier ones would be E30s while later ones would be E36.It's easy to tell them apart visually E30s have a full width grill with round headlight in it,E36s have a narrower grille with a plastics cover over the headlight.
