BMW E36 Forum

Hi everyone im new to this forum. Basically in august my car was stolen just after i brought it, ive just been payed out 3 grand and direct line said i can have my car back for nothing, its a right mess now and has some parts missing but me and my mate are gonna strip it down to shell and pretty much start again the car will also be resprayed in a different bmw colour! any ideas on colour are welcome, below are pics before it was stolen and there are also pictures of the state of it now the thieves have finished with it

What colour? Uh.. white cabrios are sexy, but wouldn't know about the challenges of colour-changing to white. Whatever the colour, let us know when it's done. Make her pretty again pal. Good luck!

Poor car... It makes me feel sad to see such a beatiful car spoiled like this. But anyway, good luck with the fix. I would suggest the blue estoril. I think it's going to look awesome on this car.

oh man im soo sorry about your car. i own a 328 cabrio that looks just like yours. in alpine white. why cant people leave a beautiful thing alone? at least im glad you have her back. let us know when is done and post some pics of her. good luck... from california.

why would you want to change the color of ur car? the current color nice.. wont u have issues with your hood color than?? or would you be changing that to match the new color?

I know this is pretty late to ask, but did u find out exactly how they stole it? Maybe we can use the info to prevent other BMW owners' cars from getting jacked.
