New battery, radio code

OK folks, I have just fitted a new battery, tapped in the code to the radio but forgot what to do next! after trying various options, all wrong, the radio now shows ''wait'' how long will this stay there and what button to I push to validate the code? when it allows me to please

If one waits for ''some time'' the warning goes away and one can re-set code again, to validate code press the arrow to the right of the 'm' (on the cd player) et voila!
