obc,milleage light problem ??

Postby Dazleeds on Sat Aug 29, 2009 4:06 pm

ok here goes

i have just bought a 320i se e36 1993 model

the problem i have is when i switch off the car and lock it up

the backlights on the obc and also on the milleage part of the cluster and also the electric window switches all stay lit

i would expect these to turn off after a couple of seconds maximum but they do not

this is causing my battery to discharge after a day or two even if the car is used

please please please help solve this as i cant be left stranded due to a flat battery and need to use the car daily

thanks in advance for all your help

have used several tips off the site for other things ie sevice reset etc all succesfully : )
