OBC Which one?

Hi all.I have just bought an E36 2.8 after selling my 325i convertible.The check control unit is only working on the clock and date.Iwas told that this unit had recently been replaced.I have a 1995 model.Can i fit any of the computers or only like for like?

just check with your local bmw garage they will put you right ,

...Sure you could go to BMW and empty you wallet... or do a simply DIY swap and save your cash.
There's two different computers (tell them apart by the different number of buttons) The the best of my knowledge it you get one with the same button count it should all be sweet.
