Pre-wired phone

Postby ben323is99e36 on Wed Feb 04, 2009 3:40 am

I have a prewired tag in my trunk for the cell phone, and i have never seen the cat5 (i think) that it uses to connect to a phone. Does anyone know how i can tell if it's even really wired? Also what can i do with it and how?
thanks

You might need to try pulling out the center console/armrest to get the cable from underneath. Just because BMW has pre-wired it doesn't mean they are going to leave it hanging out.

How do you mean what can you do with it? You can buy the phone and install it or get creative and run something else through the wires?
