Hey,

I have a 1994 BMW 318i, when i turn it on, the oil lights shows, but they disappear about 1 min after that. Is that normal or i should reset the lights?

Regards,
Ali

Its normal... If it remains it usualy is to remind you about service needed (oil reset or Inspection reset).

if your lights are all out and you want them back on again, get yourself a bit of wire, put one end in plug 7 of the round diagnostic plug and bridge the other end onto the body, turn key so the dash lights up, but dont start, 3 sec later all lights back on, take wire back of and drive it like you stole it, two turning and two burning... :geek: :geek:

3alloush!

Mechanics take almost nothing to reset it for you whenever you change oil.
