Reset oil change lights

Postby Terry on Sun Jun 21, 2009 1:52 am

I have a 1994 325IC
I have tried the 7/19 paper clip trick - no change
I may have other electrical issues - the temperature button does not work, neither does the air conditioner.

These are not serious issues, as I know to change the oil every 5,000K, or when the weather changes significantly. The air conditioner is not serious either, as the only times I would need it are when the top is down anyway.

I have checked all the fuses - none seem to be blown. Anything else I could check?

do you hear the compressor kick into life for the air con when you press the button? if not you need a re-gas.
paperclip trick pin 7 to 19 make sure clip is in all the way

1, insert clip all the way down
2, switch ignition to 2nd click, dont start engine.
3, wait 8 seconds
4, switch off ignition,
5, remove paper clip
6, turn ignition on and test to see if worked

Hi, I have a 1986 325, and my car only goes from numbers 1 thru 12? And my oil light is on, how do I get it off?
Thanks!
