Reverse light problem

Hi guys...I recently bought my first Bmw...1997 328i M Sport Coupe Auto.
someone pointed out to me recently i had no lights showing when i was reversing..I checked and changed a fuse which had blown..No joy..I then went and bought 2 new bulbs..Reverse lights still do not come on ..Any ideas..
