I was wondering if anyone could tell what the cheapest way to smoke my tail lights would be. Also do my side lights have to be clear to be smoked? would painting over the orange not look good?

The have point designed for smoking lights but it's sprayed from the inside of the lense so all it would do to an orange is let less light through... which is pointless and dangerous.

The smoking paint is fairly thin and fragile(otherwise it wouldn't let any light through) so it just won't last on the outside.

If you are desperate for smoked lights you're best to buy them cause they will always look better than home sprayed one.

I have red white taillights (aftermarket)..and after a while a sprayed them with taillight spray.
This way you can deside for yourself how dark you want your lights to be. I havnt got a picture right now but ill make one soon(ish)

Same goes for signal lights....try and get the white ones and spray away..Ofcourse you could always buy smokes..since they are availeble..same for tail-lights btw

It's very easy to do. I just bought a can of spray from Auto Value. It is a special tint spray for lights (any kind).
Took the rear lights off, sprayd them, let them dry out for cuple hours, ready to be put back on and enjoy. Plus doing this, you can choose how dark do you want them...myne are just blacked out, and I just love the way they look... so!!!
