splines in driveshaft
Posted: Wed Jul 13, 2011 11:39 amI'm replacing the automatic transmission in my 93 325iS. I played heck removing the drive shaft since the splined slip joint did not slide in and out. Seems it is stuck. Even when I removed the assembly I had a hard time pulling the splines apart. They were clean when I got them apart.
Is it supposed to slide in and out easily ?
It appears that someone replaced the shaft and its center bearing support, along with the guibo.
