Removing the cats removes some restriction. Less restriction is better(within reason).

I don't know what your systems are like but would say cat removal pipes are the way to go. You have a flange on either side of the cat so you can drive around cat free, then when you have to get it tested you simply bolt the cats back in for the test then swap back.

The cops are looking underneath for the cats now, at least they are around here.

idd if you remove the cats completly you would have better (bigger) flow..but more noise and c0 to..keep in mind you would need to put the cats back for the mot ..unless your car is from before 91 ..well here atleast :o :?

The difference between a metallic performance cat and no cat at all is only 1hp and 1ft/lb of torque. Go to www.uucmotorwerks.com, click "Tech Tips" on the bottom, then click "The truth about going 'catless'" on the left. It shows you how they tested it on a dyno.

I don't know about you, but 1hp and 1ft/lb or torque isn't enough for me to illegally mod my car.
