Not much fun to say the least. I started with crap paint stripper but it stripped then re-set too quick so I moved on to a more expensive one "CitriStrip" which worked wonders. It stays wet and keeps stripping for over 24 hours. Two of them are getting close to paintable and the other two have a long way to go. I had considered getting them sand blasted but then I'm impatient and wanted something to do and I have a spare set of wheels so there's no hurry. They are going to be painted black. I haven't decided between Gloss, Satin or Matte, any one have any thoughts on it(they are going on a Hellrot Bimmer)?

I think satin black will look gorgeous on Hellrot red. It's a hard decision really, but if it was up to me, I would go with satin.

Thanks Tony, I'm leaning towards satin at the moment. I guess on the off chance I don't like how it turns out I can strip 'em and do it all over again.

Sounds good. How are the wheels being painted? Are you doing it yourself or getting someone to do it for you?
