Super-charger or turbo on bmw e36 328i

Postby THE ONE & ONLY BMW on Fri Jun 01, 2012 12:15 am

Can i buy a turbo or super-charger and the kit to fit on to the bmw e36 328i, and if not is it possible to fit a turbo or supercharger on to the e36, i don't know which one is better, i want power in each shift and also in high and low revs, i don't want a lag in which the power comes after 3/4 thousand revs if you know what i mean. It is an s reg which i think is 1998 e36 328i, thanks for your help... And also what would i have to modify...

Supercharger will be the way to go. To get a turbo to be responsive down low you have to sacrifice top end.

VF, Active Autowerke, ESS and a few others do supercharger kits.

With the kits there's not much modifying, I believe. Shuffle things around to make room, bolt on and send your computer in for a flash.
