in my 96 328i when i turn on the A/C the digital display shows 32*C on full heat :? . does anyone know how to change that back to ferinheight

The out side temp. sensors is faulty.To find the sensor open bonnet looking down the gaps between the bumper and radiator you will find a sort or small black box connected by a two pin connector with a green band pull the tab and disconnect the sensors.To remove the sensor pull it out replace as removed.

When the compressor and fan motor Power Saver mode or turned off during the shut down the unit, the room temperature lower than the actual temperature display reading may show a short time.
