Do you know what this plug is ?
It is not connected.

Couldn't tell you, sorry. If you don't get an answer in the next two days I'd be happy to pull mine apart and see whats going on with it.

Ok so I must apologize, I was rather busy today shopping for my first house :)

I had a look when I got home but it's kinda dark.
In my car it's actually connected. One end comes from up in the steering wheel area and the other end comes from over the steering column.

Unfortunately it's back to work now for a while. If I get chance I'll have another look and try to follow them further and have a look in the service manual.
