what problems to look for at 210000km?

Postby Bmadd on Tue May 26, 2009 1:56 am

i am looking at buying a 97 328i High line that has almost 210000 on it. if i do get the car what am i going to be needing to replace soon? An older couple have ownered it since factory and it has a full BMW service history so it seems it has been looked after but 210000 is starting to get along and i want to own it for a while. So is it gonna be worth getting it or are major problems just around the corner?

Thanks

front suspension components, cooling system, in general just replace what needs to be fixed at the moment and go from there----tune up, cooling, suspension, etc. fuel pump--replace it--!!
