Im lookin at buying some new wheels, I have chosen a set, but not sure if they will fit.

they are 19 inch, they come in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5

can I fit the 9.5's on the rear and 8.5 on the front?

also, can anyone explain this part?

5/114.3 ET35

I assume the 5 is 5 stud, whats the rest? and what should it b for a BMW e36

thanks alot!!

The 8.5 at the front should be fine but the 9.5's may stick out a little IIRC. I would be more worried about them being 19". At 18" it seems like about half of the e36 owners can fit them with out rubbing and the other half have to roll their fenders... so I would say 19" is definitely pushing your luck.

Have you seen 18/19"s on an e36? To me it looks funny... you just cant beat 17".

The 5/114.3 is the P.C.D.(pitch circle diameter) which is the diameter of a circle when drawn throught the center of the wheel nuts/bolts. The 5 indicates 5 bolts and the 114.3 is the diameter in mm.
ET is the offset. 35mm from the center of the rim to the mounting face.

I believe the e36 is supposed to be 5/120 ET35-46

Mind if I ask what you're planning to achieve with these wheels? Wider/staggered wheels tend to be for performance/better grip where as 19"s are just "bling" as they reduce acceleration because the have higher angular intertia, also as they are larger(and heavier) they gain more kenetic energy when the meet a bump which results in a rougher ride. The 19"s will also change gearing slightly but I couldn't comment on if it would be positive or negitave change.

Edit: missing words :(

yes I have seen 19's and it looks HOT HOT! I had 17" M3 wheels, they were hot, but 2 much 2 replace (destroyed them all in a police chase)

thanks for the rest of the info, I found not long after that bmw is 120, bugger.

also, done some callin, they say 8.5 will fit, and maybe 9.5 on rear, pushing it tho.. might just get 8.5 all round and just wider track tyers on rear!

there are the wheels I wanna get, but only in 114.3, bitch!!

I agree with 17".. Think its just too much for an E36 using 19" :)

That still looks strange to me... and I dont think I'd cope with so little rubber.

I'll stick with my 235/45r17

its not much, just got chased, hit just over 180, came in2 a round about hard, brakes got 2 hot, didnt work as good, missed the exit by about 5 cm's so I clipped the gutter and went in air and came back down, up some1's front lawn and back down 2 street.

destroyed all 4 wheels, snapped drive shaft, front right and rear left suspension was bent. all fixed now. but just on UGLY stock wheels
