Which wheels??

Postby davew555 on Tue Mar 13, 2012 7:20 pm

Hi all, just wanted your opinions on which wheels look best on an M3 Evo cab and what size gives the best comprimise eg style with comfort/ride etc. The car is aquamist metallic and i was thinking gunmetal wheels, has anyone else done this combo before and if so any pics so I can see what it looks like.
Thanks in advance

I personally think stick with BMW factory styles. I like DS1, DS2 or style 22s
You can fit 18's and even some 19's. 17's are where it's at though.
17's are still stylish and offer the best performance because of less rotational mass.
235/40/17x7.5 on the front(wouldn't go wider than 235)
255/40/17x8.5 rear

I can't say I've ever seen an E36 in aquamist metallic let alone with gun metal rims.

I have a 1995 325i vert and know someone with 17" BMW wheels for sale at reasonable price. Would they work/look good. I thought about 16", but these could be an option????? Thanks... :?
