will '95 hardtop fit a 2000 model

Hi All,
I'm new to this so bear with me. I've a 2000"W" with fully auto roof,which is seemingly already hardtop prepped(as stated by my local bmw dealer).However I've come across a 1995 hardtop,will this fit straight onto my car? How difficult is it to fit? Many thanks.Paul

Hi everyone.Went to the american web site for E36's and found that all hardtops are the same. Bought and successfully fitted the hardtop without any issues. Now awaiting quote from BMW for glass out respray! Thanks
