wind noise

Postby flitty1 on Fri Dec 10, 2010 8:31 pm

after using half a spool of duct tape to find out where it was coming from i found theres a gap on the rubber seal on my windscreen anyone got a reccomendation for the correct glue for this job ? driving me crazy past 50mph was tempted to use super glue but from bitter experience i know it wont work and will take me half a day to get rit of it !

You could try a wet area silicone sealant under the rubber
just be carefull not to get it everywhere when you apply it then when it has set use a sharp knife to remove the excess off the glass being carefull not to cut the rubber.
