Car to a mechanic, not certified; he agreed it was the r Our temporary fix
Was to duck tape both windows to the door. The next day my girlfriend pick the car up and
Only the rear windows work I know for a fact that driver and passenger window work, but know its only the rear that work.Sorry about the story just wanted to give you members an idea of what I went through.Thanx

Welcome.

Sorry but after the first line the rest made no sense at all.

Are you trying to solve the problem or just telling us about it?

Actually, both can't really explain it without telling you guys a to truth behind this madness to make long story short both driver and passenger windows doesn't work. The thing is,before I let this uncertified mechanic looked at it all windows worked.I check the slots where fuses 13 and 14 should be there's isn't any fuses in those spot and yes,I tried putting those fuses in both slots and when I did it doesn't click in like the others there's nothing metallic that keeps them together “weird". Is there anything that allows both windows to stop working besides the fuses because both rear work? Thanx

What work was your mechanic supposed to be doing? Knowing that may help in determining what he has changed.

Empty 13 and 14 shows they shouldn't be there, it's unlikely the terminals have been pushed down. On some models 19 is a windows fuse.

If they both went at once I'd be looking at a ground problem or comfort relay.

Ok previously I used duck tape to hold both driver and passenger windows up my mechanic told me both windows were off track, regulators were bad and I needed them replace as a temporarily fix and don't know what he did to keep those windows up but I know for a fact that windows front driver and passenger doesn't have any power.

The mechanic didn't want to get them back in their tracks for you?

No power to the switches or regulators?
Still, check your grounds and comfort relay.

Correct VMZ so he basically put both windows up manually and from there I have no clue what he did to keep them up there's no power and both windows are up and yes no power to the switches or regulators. How do I check the ground and relay? Oh thanx for the link and being patience.

If you pop the door card off you should be able to see what he has done. It sounds like they're in their tracks if they're up and staying there.

Before we go any further, how have you diagnosed that the switches and regs have no power?

Grounds you'll find if you follow the loom from the regulators back till a bunch of brown wires come out and attach to the body.

Comfort relay location and possible fix:
